Chimbanta is a feminine and wild wine obtained from grapes of the monica variety, one of the oldest in Saredegna. The name "Chimbanta", in Italian "Cinquanta", tells the beautiful story of a son, Alessandro Dettori, who dedicates a wine to his father, Paolo, for his fiftieth birthday.
It is a delicious, fruity and floral red, with irresistible juiciness. On the nose it smells of raspberry, red flowers and Mediterranean scrub. The enveloping aromas are reflected in a sip in which the softness of the sun-ripened fruit is central, promptly enlivened by an irrepressible savory push, like a rough sea breaking on the rocks. Expressive, brilliant, with a velvety touch and long persistence.
