The performance consists of the 52nd station 'Ishibe' where several guests stay in an inn along the water in a natural area with several trees.
Utagawa Hiroshige also known as Ando Hiroshige was a Japanese artist who created ukiyo-e. He is seen as the last great master of this art form. Hiroshige is best known for his landscape images, such as 'Pictures of the Famous Places on the Fifty-three Stations. Hiroshige had a great influence on the French Impressionists, among others.
