Keto Keramik Hans Welling - Jarrón - B1000 (Al. 44 cm) - Cerámica

Rare Find! Vintage Retro 50s Keto Keramik Hans Welling Design Floor Vase - best of West German Pottery! Add a touch of mid-century charm to your home with this exquisite floor vase designed by the renowned Hans Welling for Keto Keramik. Standing tall at 44 cm with a diameter of 22 cm, this piece exudes elegance and sophistication. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this vase features a lovely green glossy glaze adorned with darker sprinkles and an art-deco style geometric stripes pattern. Its striking design is a testament to Welling's creative genius and his contribution to the post-war German art-pottery scene. ***About the designer*** HANS WELLING Hans Welling was responsible for some of the most sophisticated output of several of the best post-war German art-pottery manufacturers—Keto, Ruscha, and Ceramano among them. He served as Ceramano's artistic director for a period of time (1959-1961) but otherwise little is recorded about him or his relationships with these firms. Many famous Ceramano shapes and decors are ascribed to him: 'Pergamon,' 'Koralle,' 'Minerva,' 'Ceralux,' 'Tundra.' Welling also designed tableware and collectibles for Goebel Porzellan. Hans Welling used wax resist and sgraffito motifs, experimental "fat lava" volcanic surface glazing with lush colors, applied "knob" patterns, as well as dusty and encrusted finishes in an attempt to appear as if discovered in an archeological site. His range was vast and his experimenting with surfaces and glazing incredibly interesting. Perfect for collectors and enthusiasts of mid-century design, this rare find is sure to elevate any interior space. Whether displayed as a standalone statement piece or filled with your favorite blooms, this vase is bound to captivate attention and spark conversation. Don't miss out on the opportunity to own a piece of history! Bid now and add this iconic Keto Keramik floor vase to your collection today. ***the red vase seen on the last photo is NOT included in this auction, only as decoration*** --- Check out my profile for much more retro vases! I try to describe all the items as accurately and as honestly as possible, and I always include photos of the actual items. There can be naturally occurring manufacturer's defects, slight surface scratching, or wear consistent with normal use. Any condition outside normal vintage wear, like chips or cracks or serious defaults, will be noted and/or clearly visible on the photos. Most importantly: this is a transaction between a private seller and a private buyer of secondhand items, so no refunds or returns are accepted, nor any claims of guarantee or similar services.
