This Ulo is from Western Greenland and was acquired from a private Danish collection.
The womens knife is called an Ulo in Greenland and Ulu in Canada. It’s an all purpose knife used by Inuit women to scrape fat off of skin, cut hair and other purposes
Measuring L. 12 cm w. 12.3 cm and weighing 167g
Condition - In a very good condition marks and blemishes commensurate with age
Some rust spots to the blade
