Manuscript on vellum (parchment) with beautiful decorations in penwork in red and blue ink.
Written in black ink on 30 lines in two collums.
Made in Southern Europe - probably Italy - in the 15th century.
In total 14 beautiful initials in penwork on the two leaves !
Two parts of the gospels of:
Saint Luce with the story of Jesus annointed by a woman in th House of Simon the Pharisee and
Saint Matthew about forgiving each other 7 x 70 times.
In passe partouts.
Dimensions without passe-partout : 27, 5 x 19, 0,2 cm.
With passe partout: 41 x x 30 x 0,5 cm.
