Louis Poulsen Poul Henningsen - Lámpara - PH5 - Metal

Poul Henningsen (1894-1967) was a pioneer in lighting design and devoted most of his life to taming the electric light. He designed his world-famous PH 5 in 1958 as a response to the continuous changes that the incandescent bulb was undergoing in terms of shape and size. Regardless of how the lamp is installed and which light source is used, PH 5 is completely glare-free. Dimension: diameter 50 centimeters, height 27,5 centimeters, weight 1,6 kilo. Description of the lamp: no dents and few scratches. "It is my hope that the PH lamp will bring others the same joy as me when I see it reflected in my coffee cup". ( Poul Henningsen) The lamp is shipped without a bulb. Packed securely and shipped with track & trace. The story of Poul Henningsen: Poul Henningsen's (1894-1967) lifelong collaboration with Louis Poulsen began in 1924. Poul Henningsen was one of the first to recognize the importance of shaping light, and in 1958, as a follow-up to his pioneering three-screen system from 1926, he designed the PH 5 pendant.
