A great expression from Signatory with a lot of depth. A pure Port Ellen as it should be, well balanced. A masterpiece I would say!!!
Nose
Burned hay/grass, wool, wet sheep, briny, some wood, blossom notes and quite soft (reduced: a flower wich opens, slightly burned notes, some smoked fish and light aromatic).
Taste
Explosion of burned peat, juicy and slightly dry, wood, medicinal notes and warm (reduced: very tasty, light malted barley, very light flavorish, seaweed and coastal influences).
Finish
Long, dry/chewy, and yet some light sweetness in the back.
