“The body as poetry, translated into words by the language of dance.” Vadim Stein is a visual artist, art director and photographer born in the Ukraine in 1967. In the early nineties, he worked as an actor and light designer at the Theater of Plastic Drama, studying decorative sculpture and graphics where he began to experiment with photography. The dancer quickly become his favorite subject. His long-term research into the visual language of dance involves close relationships with many of the important international dance companies and theatres around the world. His exquisite prints of these "floating graces" are a rendezvous for the soul in which the viewer is an invited traveler on a journey into an original and obsessive appreciation of beauty.
