Shunga - A lengthy session - Mid 19th century - Utagawa school artist - Japón - Periodo Edo (1600-1868)
An authentic Shunga woodblock print, made during the late Edo period around 1850.
A stunning depiction of what seems to be a lengthy session of lovemaking between a man and a couple of young women.
It has some small holes in the middle of the print. These appear to be binding marks, suggesting that this print originates from a Shunga collection book.
The condition is good considering it's age; there are the small holes and some imperfections due to aging.
Overall, the scene is quite vibrant and colourful.
