Already victorious in 1976 and 1977 the Porsche 936 showed that it was still at the top at the start of the following decade. Jacky Ickx and Derek Bell offered a great victory to the German Porsche team, in the famous 'Jules' sponsored 936 that Bell describes as his favourite Le Mans racer.

Derek returned to Le Mans in 1995, alongside Andy Wallace and Justin Bell to drive the Harrods sponsored McLaren G1GTR, finishing third.
