The Santoku knife is the Japanese version of the chef's knife. The word 'santoku' means 'three virtues', which refers to the three cutting functions of the knife: slicing, dicing and chopping (fine, slices and cubes). Calling this versatility an all-rounder in the kitchen. The Forged knife is made of Japanese 440C steel with a hardness of 58 Rockwell. The knife is forged by hand, which makes each unique. The knife has a blade thickness of 2 mm and a cutting angle of 18 degrees. The Santoku knife is packed in a luxurious wooden box (b).
The blade is provided with dimples so that food does not stick to the blade as quickly.
