Here we have an early charming 19th Century oil on canvas circle of French artist Joseph Beaume 1796-1885. The painting is titled “All Three Friends” and features a young boy and girl with their dog. See final photograph of an 19th century etching of the same image. The boy is holding a dead game and letting the dog smell the bird. The painting is presented in a gilt slip frame showing wear.
