A magnificent antique Chinese porcelain bowl with an interior and exterior decoration of Mythological beasts (flying horses and Kylins) above wild sea, in the center a auspicious objects above wild sea, executed in a nice underglaze blue and white. In the border a classical decoration of circular patterns. Handcrafted in ancient China during the Ming dynasty, Jiajing (ca. 1560). Guaranteed original and of the stated period. Diameter: 8.8 centimeter Literature: similar ones (of lesser quality; without the waves and smaller) where offered at Christie's New York, 22 March 2019 - Fine Chinese Ceramics & Works of Art, lot 1635 with an estimate of USD 10.000,00-15.000,00 Provenance: Important Belgium collection Condition: The object is in very good condition, minor glaze deterioration and some minute wear, without any damages or any restorations.
