He was a famous kimono fashion designer. When he was 50 years old, he decided to follow his real passion, and became a traditional Kyoto woodblock artist. Success remained with the artist. After a gallery exhibition in New York and a book publication of his works titled "Kyoto Romance" he is as famous as a woodblock artist as he used to be as a kimono designer. It shows, the Rokuonji Temple, better known by the nickname Kinkaku-ji, is a temple in Kyoto. With its Golden Pavilion that appears to float on the water, the temple is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Japan. Now seen in full winter coat. This item is as new.
