"Doohan's Victory" Michael Doohan – No 1, overtaking Alberto Puig – No. 5, followed by Alex Criville - No. 6, on 24th June 1995 each riding a Honda NSR 500cc Michael Sydney Doohan (born 4 June 1965) is an Australian former Grand Prix motorcycle road racing World Champion, who won five consecutive 500 cc World Championships. The artwork displays the last lap battle for victory. Doohan, followed by Crivillé, is there to overtake Alberto Puig (#5) and win the Dutch Grand Prix of Assen in June 1995. Mick Doohan went on to win the World Championship. Limited Edition Print, nr. 45/500. Mint condition. Artwork by Juan Carlo Ferrigno. Juan Carlos Ferrigno is an artist who lives in Barcelona, Spain and has painted for over 25 years. When he was ten years old his father took him to his first F1 race in Buenos Aires and it was there that he was bit by the racing bug. He attended The Fine Art School and worked as an illustrator in Argentina and then he moved to Spain where he continued to draw and paint. He’s won the prestigious International Motoring Art competition and he’s worked with Planners International Events. His paintings hang in the homes of collectors around the world including racers, rock starts, and large international companies and are a true collectors item.
