This photo is from the 2011 RAINER Series “Unfinished into Death – The Bondage Series”. The original photo was made by Rene Rietmeyer whereby Arnulf Rainer worked over his photo to “improve” it. Published by Arnulf Rainer as part of a limited Edition with 12 photos and exhibited at the Venice Biennale 2011. For the series “Unfinished into Death – The Bondage Series” many photos were made, but only 12 different photos from this series have been printed in a larger size. This photo is nr. 04 from the series “Unfinished into Death – The Bondage Series”. In this large size there have been printed only six copies, the edition number is embossed in the paper and in the certificate of Authenticity. This photo is printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Pearl 320 gr/m2, the best paper possible for this type of photography. The paper is 60x70 cm
