A stunning Art Nouveau baluster vase made by Thulin in Belgium or by a prestigious manufacture in France ca. 1910. A stunning Art Nouveau version of the classical baluster shape with an elegant, elongated neck and very fine proportions. Without heavy decoration, the fine drip glaze in green/ yellow and blue tones becomes the decoration. This is one of the finest drip glazes I have seen and is of much higher quality than the average glaze by Thulin so it was most likely made in France or was na experimential piece. Unsigned, but a piece with high-quality craftsmanship and expeptional, cheerful presence. 26 cm high 13,5 cm diameter In very good condition with wear consistent with age. A vase that would add elegance and joy to any interior.
