Tonearm resonance, when excited by warps or eccentricities, even slightly, adds coloration to music, giving a fuzzy edge to it. Our low-mass straight tonearm is desensitized to resonance - the reason why in music played on the L-F210 you hear so much detail and clarity. And since it is straight, the tonearm is highly resistant to torsion and so sensitivity remains high even after long use. You can intentionally tune a record to the wrong pitch if you want, because the L-F210 has a pitch control that lets you adjust speed up to 3 percent faster or slower than standard.
