22nd release of Lagavulin 12 years old, still present in Diageo's Special Release range, this time with double maturation in ex Don Julia Anejo Tequila barrels. This vintage is called “The Ink of Legends”. Lagavulin 12 years 2023 was first aged in ex-bourbon barrels then finished in ex-Tequila barrels. The ex Anejo Tequila barrels contained a Tequila aged for approximately 18 months, which gives it sweetness and fruitiness.
