DESCRIPTION
Osvaldo Amado, renowned Portuguese winemaker, with almost 40 harvests in history, millions of bottles produced, with thousands of awards awarded and many brands that need no introduction, such as Casa de Santar, Marquês de Marialva or Cabriz. He had already made all kinds of wines, except... his own! And they had to be special, unique, distinct. They had to be rare, or better yet, they had to be ‘Very Rare’. Studio wines, in limited editions, like jewels born from nature.
Thus was born the company Total Wines – Vinhos de Portugal and the brand Raríssimo By Osvaldo Amado, launched at the end of 2019. The objective was immediately defined: to produce special, distinct and complex wines... delicately designed, unique, perfect, rare, always accompanied by its creator!

WINE VARIETIES: Baga (100%).
VINIFICATION
Total stalking, gentle and prolonged skin maceration, alcoholic fermentation at 26ºC. Aged for 24 months in French oak barrels (50% new with a light toast and 50% second use). Aged for 11 years in bottle. Start of commercialization in September 2022.
TASTING NOTES
Clear in appearance, intense ruby color with brownish tones. Distinct and elegant aromas in tertiary notes. Intense, complex, soft, elegant and harmonious flavor.
SERVING
It goes well with moderately cooked or lightly structured fish and meats. Store in a horizontal position, in a cool and dry place, protected from light and temperature fluctuations. Serve at a temperature between 16ºC and 18ºC. Consume in moderation.
