A female Bankoni terracotta sculpture, Mali, recognizable by its elongated proportions and distinct features. Her breasts, navel and chest are small raised mounds that emerge from the cylindrical core of her torso, her hands converge at her pubic area and blend into her robust, short legs, the right arm is ringed, the head is composed of the same style of mounts; this beautiful slender piece is of great artistic mastery and graceful simplicity who resonate as a whole profoundly, incl. stand "Traces of a fourteenth- and fifteenth-century tradition of figurative representations in cast metal and fired clay have been found at a number of sites in the Bamana region near Bougouni and Diola.
