A faience amulet of the Egyptian goddess, Isis. She is depicted as striding forward, with her arms by her side. She wears a tight fitting dress and tripartite wig. On her head she bears the throne crown typically associated with Isis. In hieroglyphs, the symbol of the throne refers to Isis and translates as ‘seat’. She is thus associated with the throne and royal kingship. The amulet is pierced behind the shoulders for suspension.
