Wonderful ink painting of dragon and tiger - With seals Kaihō 海北 & Yūshō 友松 - Attributed to Kaihō Yūshō (1533-1615) - Japón - Periodo Edo temprano
Artist: Kaiho Yusho 海北友松(1533-1615), a famous painter from the Momoyama period to the early Edo period. In 1535, when he was 2 years old, his father died due to war. Learning Kano school painting skills in the temple, good at copying Chinese Song and Yuan dynasty paintings, He is known for his paintings in the Kenninji temple and in many museums around the world.

The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art、Cleveland Museum of Art、Saint Louis Art Museum、Freer Gallery of Art.
Two axle heads are missing as well as oxidation spots of age.
