野良着 Noragi Ropa de trabajo japonesa teñida de índigo - Seda - Japón - Período Taishō (1912-1926)

Noragi(野良着) is work clothes worn when engaged in agriculture, forestry, and fishing. Because of its nature, functionality is prioritized, and it is easy to wear and active. It is also tailored in a simplified form for the purpose of protection from external wounds and insects. For this reason, the form of the garment has remained largely unchanged since ancient times. Due to the geographical conditions of Japan, which has a long north-south axis, the two-part and one-part styles are divided into the northeastern and southwestern regions, and there is a great variety of types depending on the work, season, and region. In ancient times, wisteria, shina, and other miscellaneous fibers and hemp were used, and after the advent of cotton, cotton became the main material because of its heat-retaining qualities. This noragi has short sleeves and is intended for summer farm work. The outer fabric is striped, with a different stripe pattern used for the collar, and the lining is made of plain indigo-dyed textile. The entire garment is covered with stitches for reinforcement, indicating the intense work that went into it. The short length is typical of the two-part style of the Northeast region, and is called koshikiri(腰切り). The very functional construction is very beautiful. Size: Width, including sleeves: 90cm Length: 90cm Condition: It is excellent condition. Please see pictures detail. NOTICE ・The lot will be carefully packaged and we may use recycled packages to reduce the environment and the cost as much as possible. ・Duties, taxes, VAT and any other import charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost.
