Roman Kornecki – born in 1959 in Skarżysko Kamienna. He paints for many years, and his favorite technique it’s oil and graphics.
The subjects of his works are picturesque landscapes often enriched with a motive expressing the longing of people for the village, nature and sun. Drawing inspiration from Dutch painting – raises the simplest views to the rank of an independent motif – forest corners cut through a sandy road, wide-spilled river bends, flat spaces meadows and fields with picturesque groups of trees. The landscape is illuminated by soft, diffused light and the delicate blue sky.
