It takes its inspiration from the silks of the Far East and Central Asia, in the printed cottons of the 18th century, but also in the Art Deco period and ethnic motifs. Two wonderful cushions made with Le Manach precious fabric "Galigai" in "creme" color (100% Cotton) and two total-look cushions made with "Monochrome 21" velvet fabric in blue color, an extra quality velvet from the Premium Collection. This fabric is a printed version of an early 20th century Uzbek "ikat" preserved in the Le Manach archives. Ikat is one of the oldest methods of resist-dyeing. The areas that have been tied are protected from the dye and, when woven, create variations in tone and blurred effects. ATTENTION: This lot do not include cushion stuffings.
