Inna Etuvgi - Fishing + passepartout

Explore the magical realm of the Swedish forest with 'Fishing,' a macro photography print from the SAGOSKOGEN collection by Inna Etuvgi, alias My Psychedelic Garden. This unique artwork transforms the simple beauty of Cladonia Pyxidata lichens nestled in moss into a serene depiction of a fisherman at the lakeshore, showcasing the power of imagination to reshape our perception of the natural world. Captured in the heart of northern nature, 'Fishing' invites viewers to a calm autumn landscape where the ordinary becomes extraordinary through the lens of fantasy. Here, a tiny moss transforms into a fishing rod, and a Cladonia lichen becomes a contemplative fisherman, quietly awaiting his catch by the tranquil lake. This piece beautifully illustrates how imagination connects disparate elements, crafting visual stories that resonate deeply and encourage us to see beyond the apparent. Printed on archival quality fine art paper with pigment inks, each limited edition nature art print is signed, numbered, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. It's an ideal art gift for nature lovers or collectors, particularly those fascinated by the Arctic or the North. Perfect as wall decor for any renovated or new home, 'Fishing' from the SAGOSKOGEN Collection—a term blending the Swedish words for 'fairy tale' (saga) and 'forest' (skogen)—is not just a piece of art but a portal to a world where nature tells its own tales through visual storytelling art. Add 'Fishing' to your collection and let it transform your space with its story of quiet contemplation and the boundless creativity of the wilderness. Signed, numbered and printed by the author ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Inna Etuvgi, hailing from Russia's Arctic shores, brings her technical background to light as a Swedish art photographer. Her artistic journey began in 2020, and in 2022, she gained recognition as a finalist in the Arte Laguna Prize 16. In 2023, she received an honour from the Swedish Arts Grants Committee. Etuvgi’s works are featured in “Photography in the Visual Culture” 22/23 book. Navigating life with Aphantasia, Inna's mind doesn't visualise, but it pulsates with vivid concepts, emotions, and sensations. She uses her camera not merely to explore the world but to externalise her unique mental landscapes, making them visible. Art critic Tabish Khan says about Inna’s art: “her work is about transporting us to other worlds - both real and imaginary, but always in harmony with nature. She may have a mind blind to visualisation, but she has eyes and a camera that capture the beauty in the worlds that the rest of us often overlook and take for granted.”
