These pieces are a stunning example of the renowned Japanese ceramic art, attributed to the celebrated master Tokuda Masahiko, the third generation of the Tokuji family. Born in 1933 and passed in 2009, Masahiko was a prominent figure in the world of Japanese ceramics, known for his unique contributions to the traditional Kutani glazing techniques. These sake bottles showcase the “Yosai” technique invented by Masahiko, featuring a harmonious gradient of traditional Kutani colors—blue, green, yellow, and purple—omitting red to create a serene visual effect.
