Hermoso jarrón de porcelana Kutani 九谷焼 - Cerámica, Porcelana - 吉田美統 Yoshida Minori - Japón - Periodo Shōwa (1926-1989)

DESCRIPTION This is a very beautiful Kutani ware vase. It expresses an elegant beauty by applying gold leaf to a light green base. Minori Yoshida 吉田美統 was born in Ishikawa Prefecture in 1932 and is currently designated as a Living National Treasure. His technique involves using thin and thick gold leaf to create a sense of depth. This technique is known as "yurikinsai 釉裏金彩," and Minori Yoshida is a master of it.
