A Shamanic “Fog Eater” Mushroom Mask from Nepal.
The grimacing face carved from a large Fungus / Mushroom which has now become solidified through the passage of time.
These piece were hung outside of Huts / Dwellings in the Nepalese Mountains with the intent of warning off negative Spirits and the Fog which was deemed hazardous to the Villagers high up in the Mountains.
The piece is being offered in good solid condition showing only age related wear and usage etc all as shown. Please study all images prior to purchase for an accurate report!
