"Ōiso-no-Maihime Telling Soga Brothers Where Suketsune is" - Utagawa Hiroshige (1797–1858) - Japón - Periodo Edo (1600-1868)

Original woodblock print by Utagawa Hiroshige (1797–1858) - "Ōiso-no-Maihime Telling Soga Brothers Where Suketsune is" - Japan - 1842-1846 From the series "Illustrated Tale of the Soga Brothers" (Soga monogatari zue), the first chapter. Signed: "Hiroshige ga". With single censor seal of Watanabe Shoemon, as used between 1842 and 1846. Originaly published by Ibaya Senzaburo (Dansen-do)(active 1815-1869), but the publisher's seal has been replaced by the seal of: Yorozuya Kichibei (active 1840-1865).
