Vintage, rare Libochovice, Czechoslovakia vase by Frantisek Peceny (1920-1977). Dated 1971. Model "Lila". Pattern number 3460. Magnificent Mid-century modern glass in square form, pressed glass technique. MCM shape, with abstract moderation, from clear glass with well expressed relief. This vase is shown in Marcus Newhall's Book "SKLO Union Art before Industry" - page 71. (In some sources is presented as Hermanova Hut product.) The condition of vase is excellent vintage. Slight and insignificant traces of use could be found, but don't affect the wonderful appearance of this piece of art. No chips and cracks, no restoration. Small imperfections inside the glass - quite normal for this way of production. Height: 18 cm. Widest size: ca. 8.5 x 8.5 cm. Weight: 895 g.
