Ventilating suit VK-3M
Ventilating suit VK-3M - To protect pilots from overheating and hypothermia in an aircraft cabin with an on-board air conditioning system. Design:Overalls with internal ventilation ducts diverging from the back in the form of ventilation along the inner surface of the sleeve and trouser legs. The air exits to the body through the air duct openings.
Does not reduce the overall mobility of the pilot and does not cause pain. The parachute suspension system does not significantly affect the distribution of air over the surface of the body.
Basic technical data: When ventilating the pilot’s body with air in the pressure mode, the VK-3M protects:
from overheating in flight and during duty at the airfield at ambient temperatures up to + 50°C
from hypothermia in flight and during duty at the airfield at temperatures down to - 50°C
from overheating and hypothermia for 1 - 1.5 hours (at extreme ambient temperatures of +50 and - 50°C)
Material: technical combined cotton-nylon fabric
Set weight: no more than 1.85 kg.
The ventilation system ensures the necessary and uniform distribution of air over the surface of the body and minimal resistance to air flow.Sealed aviation oxygen mask KM-32 with a cover-bag, intended for use by fighter pilots. Necessary for isolating the pilot’s respiratory organs and oxygen supply during flights, as well as maintaining radio communication through a headset.
Aviation laryngophone LA-5
As you know, the noise and vibration in the cockpit of small propeller-driven aircraft is quite strong, and the microphones of previous generations of aviation headsets could not transmit sound sufficiently well. To solve this problem, laryngophones have been used for many decades, and not only in aviation. When speaking, vibrations from the muscles of the human larynx are transmitted to the body of the laryngophone. Due to the inertia of the electrodes, they begin to move relative to the body.
