Produced only in extraordinary years, it combines the intensity of Reguengos de Monsaraz with the vitality of the altitude of Portalegre. Each parcel was vinified and aged separately. Made to last, it represents Esporão's ambition to make the best wines that nature provides, in a responsible and inspiring way. The company Esporão was born in Alentejo from the unconditional desire to make the best wines. This motivation is the legacy of all their wines produced and the main reason for having expanded the range to other products and territories. Herdade do Esporão, located in the heart of Alentejo, in Reguengos de Monsaraz, presents unique conditions for agriculture – large temperature ranges, poor and varied soils and an extraordinary biodiversity that helps to produce in balance with the environment. With around 702 hectares of vineyards, olive groves and other crops enhanced by the Organic Production Method, it currently includes around 40 grape varieties, 4 varieties of olives, orchards and vegetable gardens.
