An early Victorian verry pretty pair of Sterling Silver pair of candlesticks, having round baluster bodies with hand-chased acantus leaf / floral & fluted decoration, detachable nozzles and green velvet underneath the bases.
Made in Sheffield, 1840 (184 years old)

Fully English hallmarked for sterling silver.
The dimensions of this fine pair of hand-made antique silver candlesticks are:
Length 20.2 cm
Wide at base 11.8 x 11.8 cm
Approx. 591 + 543 = 1134 grams (weighted for stability) (bobèches weigh 45 grams together)
Condition: Good usable condition, definately considering it's age of 184 years old.
They have theire usermarks. One has a small lean, the other one is a pit pressed in where the base meets the stem. Some tiny pinprick indentations and small dents here and there.
