This is a very beautiful pair of rare bronze hiking rabbits, match holders! Dressed in little hiking shorts and a crisp shirt, a little messenger bag is across their chest. They are carrying a bag and a long stick made of a tree branch. I love their little furry lower limbs and feet. On their backs it can be noted a tall basket - this is open at the top and this is where you would keep your matches or long tapers in for lighting candles or gas items in the house. Certainly unusual items - and something that you do not come across every day. This is a great item to add to your collection. The rabbits figure stands on top of a flat circular plinth.
