2 Chinese porcelain plates lotus shape décor, marked –China- Kangxi period
on offer are 2 Chinese porcelain plates, both marked with a flower symbol mark. Central decoration of many peony flowers and at the flared rim 8 panels together forming the lotus shape, on a ground of crackled ice. Nice Kangxi period pair! Provenance: From a private Dutch collection from Noord Holland province.
Date: Kangxi period 1662-1722ca. 1700-1720.
Size: They both measure ca. 20cm across.
Condition: Good to very good. 1 plate only minor rim glaze loss. No chips no hairline. 1 plate a clean rim hairline partly visible, and minor rim glaze loss. No chips. Good “ping” sound when tapped with finger nail.
