Beautiful, hard-to-find Single Cask Single Malt Tamdhu 21 years old Scotch Whisky!
Distilled at the Tamdhu Distillery in the Speyside region on 10 May 1989 and bottled from cask number 4127 ( Refill Hogshead ) in June 2010. This is bottle No. 196.
The Tamdhu Distillery has a long and eventful history. The last time it was closed was in 2010; but not for long, because in 2011 Ian Macloud, family business and independent bottler, took over the distillery. Since the takeover by Ian MacLeod Distillers, the Tamdhu distillery has chosen to only mature their Speyside single malt whiskey in ex Sherry casks.
In fact, this makes this bottle more or less a 'closed distillery' whisky ;-)
Both bottle and box are in perfect condition!
