Cairo carpet LATEX was once, more precisely from 1963, an acronym denoting Lakátextil Vállalat, which characterizes almost all Hungarian home textiles of an era. Lakástextil Vállalat was created by the merger of five factories that had previously been involved in textile production and met the needs related to home textiles in Hungary and the former socialist countries. Fine-touch tapestries made in fiery colors, or home textiles, are still an integral part of sophisticated interior design, be it authentically retro or completely modern, they still decorate and warm our living spaces with the same freshness as when they were made.
