He graduated from the Széchenyi High School in Sopron and then worked as a manual laborer at the Sopron Post and Textile Factory. From 1961, he was a student at the Hungarian Academy of Arts (today's Moholy-Nagy University of Arts), where he graduated in 1966 as an artist in textile design. For thirty-three years, from 1966 to 1999, he was the designer of Lakástextil Vállalat, then the head of LATEX Studio in Budapest. From 1992, he also worked as an industrial artist member of the Mill'art Studio. Since graduating, I have made countless home textiles: furniture fabrics, blankets, carpets, etc. designed, but at the same time created his autonomous textiles, with which he regularly appeared in individual and group exhibitions. Péter Kovács was born in 1941 in Sopron. He graduated from the Széchenyi High School in Sopron and then worked as a manual laborer at the Sopron Post and Textile Factory. From 1961, he was a student at the Hungarian Academy of Arts (today's Moholy-Nagy University of Arts), where he graduated in 1966 as an artist in textile design.
