La Diosa Saraswati - Bronce - India - finales del siglo 20

A bronze statue of the Indian Goddess Saraswati, the Hindu goddess of knowledge, music, flowing water, abundance and wealth, art, speech, wisdom, and learning. It is in super condition with a nice patina and no obvious flaws that we can see - refer to images. She is a pan-Indian deity, also revered in Jainism and Buddhism, where she is venerated in many forms, including the East Asian Benzaiten ("Eloquence Talent Deity"). She is generally depicted with four arms and holding/playing the 'Veena' (chordphone instrument). Other accoutrements could include a book, water pot and a rosary. In this case she appears to be holding a scroll/book in here lower left arm. Please note that shipping costs are not solely the cost of the postal delivery service itself. Included within the shipping price is the work undertaken to prepare the article, for photography, for uploading to Catawiki, for preparation and packaging the article securely and for transporting the article to the postal delivery agent for processing.
