Karl Tutter (Neudeck, 1883 - Selb, 1969), after having done artistic studies in Austria and after working in some porcelain factories, in 1922 he became designer and artistic director in the porcelain factory of Lorenz Hutschenreuther (founded in 1857 in Selb, Bavaria, Germany) until 1956, helping to improve notably the artistic quality of the brand.
