A majestic single malt, beautifully orchestrated sweet and rare Moscatel, prestigious Malmsey Madeira, exclusive Matusalem sherry, aged port and French Cabernet Sauvignon barrel finishes. The five parts are then brought together to harmonize with each barrel and give the whiskey its own characteristics and flavors. Under the watchful eye of our master distiller, the liquid is initially matured in ex-bourbon American white oak barrels. This gives it its first base of soft notes of vanilla and honey. Whyte & Mackay has introduced three permanent whiskeys from The Dalmore, exclusive to retail sale worldwide, including a single malt with a five-barrel finish. The three new Highland single malt brand whiskeys are: The Trio, The Quartet and The Quintet, finished in three casks, four casks and five casks respectively.
