A very special type of Shingata Kokeshi made around 1970 by an artisan named Shūhōu (or Hidemine). It has a very interesting depiction on the body, covered with a poem by 土井晩翠 - Doi Bansui. The poem is called 'Koujo no tsuki' (Moon Over The Ruined Castle). Even though this doll has acquired a nice dark patina color over the years, the poem and drawings of the moon, castle ruins and red and white flowers are still clear to see. This doll has no damages.
