The difference with the earlier IVSB is mainly the larger viewfinder (eyepiece back). The Canon IVSB2F camera has a focal plane shutter with curtain, which opens and closes horizontally. The shutter speeds are: T, B, 1 - 1/1000. The shutter is cocked by the turning button on top on the camera. All shutter speeds work. Serial number of the camera is: 203328. Lens: a high-quality and valuable Canon 50 mm f 1: 1.8. Serial number: 128959. Lens is clear and scratch-free, diaphragm well adjustable. The viewfinder of the camera has three switchable magnification factors (button just below the rewind button): F, 1 x and 1.5 x Included with the camera is a Universal set-up viewfinder. According to Peter Dechert who wrote the book Canon Rangefinder cameras 1933-1968, the Canon IVSB2 is a better camera than the Leica III series.
