Frans Molenaar did an internship after his studies at the Vocational School for Tailors in Amsterdam (1955-1958) at Charles Montaigne in Paris (1959-1960) [2] and worked at the fashion house Nina Ricci (1964-1966). In 1967 he opened his first shop in the Netherlands at the Van Baerlestraat in Amsterdam. Every half year, he released a new collection.
