Papalin Réunion: blended rum from Réunion Papalin Réunion is a blend of 4 rums from the island of Réunion: a 10 year old traditional molasses rum, an 11 year old Grand Arome rum, a 12 year old traditional molasses rum and a 15 year old traditional molasses rum, all fully aged at their distillery. Papalin is a project dedicated to blends created by Luca Gargano. The concept is to create blends as was done a hundred years ago, but with rums that are 100% aged in distilleries, in the Caribbean, and therefore in tropical ageing. This is what Myers's and John Wray & Nephew did, buying from the various distilleries of the time in Jamaica and creating their own blends. In Papalin, instead of making the blends in Europe, they are created with original and Caribbean products. The first release was dedicated to Jamaica, followed by Haiti and Réunion.
