Marantz CD-63 MkII in the sought-after Ken Ishiwata Signature edition with brand new laser drive
Contents of the lot:
A Marantz CD player from the higher class.
The CD-63 MkII K.I. Signature, European CD player of the year 1996/97 (picture 11).
The laser/drive has been replaced for a brand new Philips CDM-12.1 which makes the player as good as new again.

The contents include:
Original Marantz remote control, never used.
The original package with K.I. signature certificate.
Manual, service manual and Marantz brochure on CD-Rom.
The German Stereoplay tested the Marantz among the slightly more expensive CDP-XA3ES and the much more expensive Teac VRDS-10 Special edition.
Picture 25, 26 and 27 are scans of this test from July 1996 with a favourable conclusion for the Marantz.
Quote: “player trimmed to precision and spaciousness”.
All audio equipment offered by me is professionally checked and tested before taking pictures.
The CD player is very securely packaged following all art regulations (boxed twice), and shipped worldwide.
