Beautiful pen set in metal box with green plastic protective sheet. These highly sought after fountain pens were produced between 1950 and 1956.
This copy with the Green Black striping is from 1953 and in gift cassette along with mechanical pencil which was given to M. Wijnberg, whose name and date is engraved in both pens.
The Turtoise 500 series has various designs, this one is the one with the heavily gilded xap (fountain pen) and rear (pencil); the fountain pen has a 14 k gold pen.
The metals with damask inlaid cassette is 16.5 cm by 8,5 cm and 2,5 cm thick. The fountain pen is 12.6 cm. long and the diameter is 1.2 cm.
