Teddy bear PETZ - Germany

Large teddy bear by the brand PETZ brand (Germany). The logo is pinned on the chest of the bear and there is also a label present with the following inscription "Original Petz - US zone Germany". The bear also makes a noise when you let him sit forward. He is in good condition, with signs of wear, see detailed description with pictures. Petz is a brand name / logo created by Anton Kiesewetter, Germany (Coburg). The company was founded in 1849 and began to make bears in 1921. The teddy bears were made from high quality mohair plush or high quality artificial silk / plush, typically with blond, brown or golden colours. Characteristic to these Petz bears are: their eyes, stitched hands / feet, character bump on the back and their PETZ logo on the belly (which is very rare!). This milky glassy logo was made around 1947 and was pinned on their chests. Anton Kiesewetter died in 1955 but the company continued to exist under the name of his widow and son. In the 1950s years they also added dolls to their collection. Unfortunately, due to the Asian import, the company was forced to close its doors in 1967. Will be shipped with track and trace option and with insurance.
